Mark has worked for Lochore’s since 2006, operating as a team with his father Jack Gibb, who specialises in developments.
You could say Mark was born into real estate, having been accustomed to going into the office with his dad during school holidays from a young age.
A large percentage of Mark and Jack’s sales are sourced from working closely with developers, first selling the land and then later, selling homes from the plans. This work is complemented by selling home and income properties and general real estate sales.
Mark presents himself as a very down-to-earth person. He’s at ease talking with pretty much anyone, and describes himself as a ‘straight-up guy’. He’s not easily flustered and clients respond well to his calm, friendly manner and his willingness to find solutions.
Outside work Mark is a big movie fan, a serious reader of biographies and a keen hiker. He can often be seen on the beach with his partner walking their two dogs. Mark’s elderly Pekinese has met most of his clients and can usually be found snoozing happily under Mark’s desk. Mark has lived all his life on the North Shore, giving him invaluable local intelligence. In between various telemarketing roles he has travelled extensively around Europe and to the US and Canada.
